There are oceanfront restaurants in Bucerias, great options for dining and watching the sunset. We have tried several and it is always best to observe if there are tourists eating at the place and compare which is the most popular of the moment. We usually eat at the restaurant which is further north and at the end of the street. There is a good Italian restaurant at the end of the restaurant section facing the sea. If there are people outside trying to convince you to eat there with pictures of the food, it’s probably just a place to have drinks!
Sayulita
There are a hundreds of restaurants in Sayulita. Check TripAdvisor as this town grows and changes rapidly. There are many excellent places on this beach, your eyes and nose will be the ones in charge of guiding you.
Don Pedro
Go north on Highway 200 towards Tepic and follow the signs. Approximately 20 minutes from Quinta del Encanto. Food and dinner. Seafood. An option facing the sea.
Puerto Vallarta
There are several tourist guides for restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. We suggest you take an updated guide. There are many restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and they constantly change their service and quality.
The ٴ marina area has several good restaurants. It is best to walk around first. In Puerto Vallarta, the old part to the south has the largest variety of restaurants. There is one called Cafe Las Ollas near Hotel Jasmine.
You will find many restaurants in this area south of the river through Puerto Vallarta. Le Bistro is always very good and is located on the edge of the river in the center of the village. Cafe des Artistes is excellent, a little pricey but a good place for a special occasion. Cafe Barcelona very good for Spanish food. Anyone can give you the location of this historic place.
The palapa restaurants in Playa de los Muertos, south of Puerto Vallarta, are known for their good meals and cocktails at sunset. Little touristy and possible more to botanear.
